So I logged into WordPress and almost had a heart attack – this blog just had a TON of views since my last post went online, which either means that either Kyle and K (who shared the link on Facebook – just tell me which of your pages you want me to link your names to on this post) are REALLY influential or people really are tired of writers who don’t put the work in so they read this over and over again.
It’s perfectly possible that it’s a little of both, but I’m more inclined to think that I have influential friends/contacts. Because most of the people around me are awesome.
Whatever it is, I’d like to say THANK YOU to everyone who read that particular post. It’s a topic that I’m passionate about, and it’s gratifying to know that there are people who found it interesting. It doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with my opinions; the fact that you took the time to take a peek is enough. If you ended up looking at my other posts without fleeing in fear, I’m even more grateful. I do understand that I have a tendency to overdo the thinking. And the nerd rage.
Again, thank you. I didn’t think a large number of page views would make me happy, but it did.
Especially since it gave me an excuse to write a filler blog post like this.
Seriously, though. The views made me happy. Should I write more posts on the art of writing for the web?
