Yes, I know – I didn’t really post anything yesterday. So many things came up, and it totally slipped my mind. I’d like to say that the majority of these things involved making myself better as a write – unfortunately, that’s not exactly true. Yesterday mostly consisted of Steam games, Pacific Rim (I promise to have the review up by tomorrow!), and this show called Personal Taste.
The only remotely productive thing I managed to do yesterday was complete the final component of a crochet project that someone was paying me Php300 for.
That said, I really enjoyed my Saturday – especially after the week I had. I’m not getting into that, of course. Let’s just say that I love my job, but sometimes it can be extremely stressful and I sometimes end up needing some time to do stuff that basically have nothing to do with writing. And the fact that I’m feeling a little burnt out made me realize something:
I need to scale back my blog posts. As such, I’m thinking of just doing posts for Mondays to Fridays, and leave my Saturdays and Sundays free so I can play stuff like Final Fantasy 7 and Scribblenauts Unlimited (and, hopefully, sleep). Of course, I could type up a few things on weekends, so I can relieve some of the pressure of writing on weekdays. But mostly, no weekend (Pinoy time) posts. I think that’ll work out well for me.
I hope it works out well for you too. 🙂 At least this means that fewer of your days will be ruined by my posts.
