Crick – A Poem

image

With a tilt of the neck I
pull from one direction and
crumple
the other
into small paper balls,
messy folds beneath
my shoulders
under
my skin.

Push and fly to
the other side,
for sphere unfolding,
fingers pushing
at creases and tears.

Circle back and pull.
