Ah, 2016. What a mixed bag you are!
You brought me a lot of opportunities to hone my creativity and craft. But you also killed a bunch of some crazy talented people within your first 3 months.
You also kept throwing a bunch of unexpected stuff at people, myself included. Don’t deny it, 2016. We all know you did. They’re not all bad, but the adjustment periods keep being inconvenient/stressful.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s nice to know I can stretch (albeit slowly) as a human being and as a professional. I’d appreciate the opportunity for less fury and more good quality sleep, though.
Please stop giving my cat post-op issues. The poor thing is getting depressed because he has to stay in his carrier, and his little brother is acting out because they can’t play with each other.
Please send fewer curveballs so I can at least try to think of a good concept for the Project: TIMES sci-fi/fantasy issue. And maybe participate in National Poetry Writing Month this April. And FINALLY get back to my Wattpad projects. And finish at least 1 major crochet project. Basically, just let me sleep better so I can have more energy to do all this this year, please?
Sincerely,
Elea
PS: Thank you for Supergirl and The Flash, though. They make me happy.
