Ebook Organization: JOY <3

So I finally got off my butt and downloaded Calibre on my laptop so I can convert some of the PDFs I have on hand to a .mobi format (thus making them more readable on my Kindle). Funnily enough, the first thing I did was take some of the .mobi books from my library and turn them into PDF files for my brother so he can read them.

In any case, that kicked off some majorly obsessive organizing and re-organizing the ebooks I have on hand. I’m still trying to decide if I should arrange them according to genre/purpose or if I should do the author thing. Right now, I have examples of both.

Decisions, decisions.

I really need to think about this (Photo credit: Robert Couse-Baker)

I don’t always fix my stuff; but when I do, I try to do it as well as I could. Which means I spend hours on it. HOURS. And I find those hours wonderful because they give me a sense of fulfillment. These things can stay in their place until I move them again. You can’t say the same of life, right? Somehow, I find being able to control this makes me feel better.

Internet, how do YOU organize your stuff? Do you base it on the creator? Genre? Heck. COLOR?

Hm. Maybe I should fix this according to series.
